What You Can Do to Hide Cat Eyes

Cat eyes have been likened to an anaconda, large menacing lips that are so scary. They cannot be covered up with anything, but there are ways to hide those cute cat eyes from view.

Cat eyes are very expressive, so it is important that you don’t show them too much. They are just too interesting. Of course, some cats will let the eyes show a little more, and some will hide them completely. But regardless of how you want to keep your cat’s eyes hidden from view, there are a few things you can do to keep them looking a little less strange than they already are.

For most people, hiding cat eyes is easier than letting them show. If you have a long face or big ears, you may be able to hide them with a pair of glasses or hats or headgear. Some cats will do this automatically, and if you don’t have such a thing, you can always try putting a small treat between the cat’s eyes.

In the same vein, there are many other options for hiding cat eyes. Make sure that any head gear you wear hides your eyes. If you have long hair, remove it at the beginning of the day, and if you have big ears, remove them before you put on the hat or sunglasses.

Other things you can do include creating a bowl out of cardboard to serve as a hiding place for your cat, or putting food in its cage or feeding bowl. You can also hide the food using a “hidden” treat.

Other cat owners will consider using powders and creams to cover up their cat’s eyes. Both work well, but a natural cat eye cream will last longer. And even if your cat seems to like it, you may not be able to get him to eat the cream, because he won’t like being coated in pet food.

There are other ways to make your cat eye look a little less scary. One idea is to brush the cat’s whiskers occasionally, especially if he has long whiskers. It may be a good idea to brush cat whiskers yourself, if possible, so you can get a feel for the cat’s tendencies.

If brushing your cat’s whiskers won’t do the trick, don’t worry. Cats have what is called a whisker gland, which has a long tail, which produces a substance that covers up the cat’s whiskers when it moves in a certain way.

If your cat won’t stop licking the corners of his mouth, you can use deodorant or a cat collar to keep the paw prints from leaving the bottom of the cage. And be careful not to rub your cat’s face in the corners. He may seem to like it, but it can actually make the cat’s skin irritated.

If you have kittens, putting an oil-based cat oil in their cage can help their skin stay soft. Be careful not to use cat oils that are too heavy for your cat, or the oil can make your cat’s coat shiny.

When you do decide to try hiding cat eyes, remember that your cat may not react well to it. Try a few things to see if they can be helped.
